The course gives a broad outlook of computers and its application in business. Demonstrate knowledge of Windows operating system and basic file management techniques. Utilize word processing software to create and edit documents, outlines, and charts for business communication. Utilize spreadsheet software to create and edit formulas, functions, charts, and ‘what if’ analysis to solve business problems. Demonstrate Internet use and navigation. Demonstrate the ability to use presentation software to create, design, and exhibit presentations with enhanced features and web tools.

This course aims at examining and establishing the skillsets of the students with respect to commercial banks , central bank of Oman , stock markets , international foreign exchange markets and other associated issues pertaining to financial institutions .

This course takes a broad view into encompassing topics such as prudential guidelines of banking , financial analysis of banks , interest rate risk , credit risk , systematic risk ,unsystematic risk , operational risk and all other associated risk. Different stages of the industry life cycle is also captured in this course with a view to infusing rudimentary knowledge of phases inculcating industry life cycle processes.

The course takes into paramount consideration a diverse overview of  the tenets of all facets of banking spanning across concept of prudential guidelines, types of risk , risk and returns ,bank financial statements and all other associated topics in banking .

This course takes into pertinent consideration the rudiments of principles of Accounting 1 . 

It interfaces between the prime books of entries and concludes with the preparation of  the financial statements . 

This course is a conceptual one, which designed mainly to provide the student with the introductory managerial concepts and knowledge, it focus on the three functions of management: planning, organizing and controlling, discuss the nature of managerial work, the evolution of management history, the organizational culture, the effect of external environment forces on the organization success and how managers make decisions

The course introduces key concepts and themes that concern the enhancement of decision makers’ judgment based on hypothetical and real life situation. The course demonstrates the deficiencies and insufficiencies of rational economic model in decision making. It draws attention to number of biases that hinder the effectiveness of decision maker judgment based on the model. Moreover it exposes the students to how decisions are practiced in varied organizational and managerial situations including job and career prospects, investments, disclosure, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, change aspects, environmental issues and moral aspects.

Development of the Student performance in the field of geometric & free hand Perspective to in order know the various aesthetic relationships in the field of interiors, industrial, Graphic Design, Textile& photography and aim to describe these relations and its effect to upon human being the basic standard for these designs.

Identification of design as a technological foundation that emphasis on the Ideal relationship between Human and environment, as human beings are the basic unit in the design process. This course covers the organs of the human Assembly from the synthetic point of view to identify the freedom of movement and make use of it in the work of various designs. Emphasis is placed on health and safety.

It includes an analytical and critical study of key local designs in different design fields. It also offers a discussion of various design aspects and examines the ways of local and global achievement & creativity in this field.

An introduction to basic techniques of representative drawing using pencil and colors, sketches, still life, 3D design in class and interior spaces on Field trips. Emphasis is placed on student abilities to produce representational drawings within short time frame.

Including raw Materials used in different architecture and interior design, from chemical, physical & mechanical side and recognizing the different methods of production, understanding the role of designer in selecting the suitable raw materials for different field of Design, and how to select and use them in architecture and interior design.

This course covers the design process of the final graduation project for interior design students from the conceptual sketches to the final presentation. It includes the implementation of the graduation project that the student prepared previously in the framework of the standards and rules that he\she has taken in previous courses. In this course, the students prepare plans and theoretical studies, and then present it in a way that shows its dimensions and aspects for assessment.

Includes definitions and concepts of quantity calculations and its role in identifying different production systems used in factories and companies. Role of the designer in these systems and defining the various costs for the products to benefits from its practical aspects in factories and companies.

The study of the mass and the space and their aesthetic values and their relations with the space and the production mass and its use according to the perspective and geometric rules. Preparing block model of the components of building; preparing a 3D model of an apartment including space distribution, staircase and landscape, Exterior & Interior model of building.

Aesthetics is the branch of philosophy that studies art, specifically, matters of beauty and judgments of taste. Brief study of Aesthetics, through ages, arts and psychological theories, aesthetic values, art Criticism and classification.

Enhance the student's historical knowledge of interior design through examining interior architect developments throughout history. Students will familiarize themselves with sources and concepts used in interior design history and theory; enhance their critical thinking and writing skills within the field of interior design.

The Students will be introduced to Information Age, Information Technology, in Management ,Information Systems in Decision making, Planning, Acquisition, and Controls. The course is designed to familiarize the students with issues, problems, and opportunities that executives face today when planning, acquiring and managing Information Technology.

Fundamental models, components, and terminology related to data communications are presented. Understanding of data communications technologies and how they help organizations to be more effective, efficient and competitive. A survey of the technologies and applications of telecommunication systems with emphasis on LANs, Internets and intranets.

The objective of this course is to provide students with the basic concepts, knowledge and skills required in utilizing Artificial Intelligence techniques in solving practical problems. Topics to be covered include: knowledge representation methods like propositional logic and predicate calculus, blind search strategies (breadth-first and depth-first), heuristic search strategies (hill-climbing, best-first and A*), backward and forward reasoning, applications: expert systems, natural language processing, pattern recognition, image processing, and planning. The practical part of the course involves programming exercises and case studies related to the topics covered.
